Positive feedback

We all get rejections (lots of them), but sometimes the editor will take the time to explain what it was about your story they liked, but not enough to make the sale. That just happened with me with one of my new Weird Western stories that was submitted to Beneath Ceaseless Skies. It was rejected, but the assistant editor who sent me the note pointed out where he lost the story, and why. It was super helpful. With some luck (and a bit of re-writing), perhaps I can turn this story into a winner. To quote Galaxy Quest... Never Give up! (Yeah, I know, and Never Surrender...but that part didn't make as much sense for this blog.) :D
