Playing with a new genre - Superhero

Almost all my writing falls into the categories of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror.

Of course, these can encompass many varieties and settings, but I rarely stray too far. My sci-fi often is either far in the future or the near future, and my fantasy has been contemporary or set in my own fantasy world that I based my trilogy (still to find a publisher) from.

But not long ago I tried my hand a writing a superhero story (which certainly could fit into either science fiction or fantasy but really is its own genre). The story had cautionary feel to it, and I'm pleased how it came out. The real test will be to see if “Five Gold Rings” is worthy of being published.
